The Steady Hand is a revolutionary magnetic
writing instrument designed for individuals who suffer from hand tremors such as Parkinson's Disease (PD) and other neurological
disorders. The Steady Hand takes over where the other commercially available writing devices left off. Weighted writing devices
do not offer the distal stability needed to maximize control. Wrist hold-down devices do not control the tremors distal to
the wrist. The Steady Hand offers the stability needed to maximize control and clarity while writing.
How Does the Steady Hand Work?

The Steady Hand places the stability at the
distal most point of the writing utensil. It is an ergonomically designed instrument holder positioned at the appropriate
writing angle. The groove in the instrument holder holds most pens and pencils securely when writing. In the base of the instrument,
a magnet is housed to offer the user the stability needed to maximize writing and drawing clarity. The Steady Hand comes with
a metal base that interacts with the magnet to offer the resistance and stability while writing. There are 3 buffer caps that
come in different levels of thickness. The buffer caps are used to match the stability needed with the severity of the tremors.
Write and Draw With Clarity
The Steady Hand includes a standard metal work surface (12" x 18"), writing
stylus, and 3 buffer caps of varying thickness that accommodates all levels of tremors. Used by adults and children.
Cap#1: Mild tremors (mild resistance)
Cap#2: Moderate tremors (moderate resistance)
Cap#3: Severe tremors (maximum resistance)
